When one makes a promise, vow, or enters into a contract, one makes it with full agreement and compliance with Universal law. Most contracts remain in your auric field until the contract is dissolved energetically. Old energy simply sits in your energy field holding space until you are ready to release it. This is why it's good to energetically clear detrimental forms of energy from your field (records).
